After much thought over the past few weeks, I have decided to cancel my order for the Lucid Air and also stop covering the Lucid Air EV and changes with Lucid Motors. I don’t think I should explain more at this time, I hope you understand.
If you are interested in taking over this site, please contact me. It would be a waste to let it just die, it has been built up and gets a nice amount of traffic.
I appreciate all the support I had from many of you but I need to step away from this company, the car, and a very vocal part of the community.

Barry, I'm sure you are frustrated for what ever reason but the truth is Lucid sold us goods they just can't deliver on. I've been very vocal with local retail site and service facilities but more importantly I've met wonderful people who own these cars and frankly they feel the same as l do stressed with anxiety to step into the car because of the numerous failures in what works and doesn't work. One comment I was asked is can we file a class action suit or how to file a lemon law claim. That's when I knew it wasn't me it was the car affecting my health and well being. My reason for commenting is others had asked me if there was a blog to meet other owners which you created but I just found today on Google pop up so good luck in your ventures and thank you.
You make valid points. However, I think it is important to keep in mind Lucid was attempting to come to fruition throughout the Covid-19 circumstances over the past two years, which involve unforeseen supply chain issues even they were/are impacted by. I'm not making an outright excuse for Lucid. However, I don't think their issues are so black and white.
I guess it's the American way. Let's sue. Stupid. I know more about this company then anyone here. It's a startup. Supply chain issues. But let's sue. I hate people like that. Just go with the flow. Trust me. It's coming around. Just watch the road. You'd really be surprised at what you see. There is more on the road then what your seeing. I've been in automotive allot of years. This is the second startup I've been involved in. It looks promising. But like I said. Without saying it. Watch the road. They are already doing big things
We know exactly how many are on the road and it is not a lot. We'll just trust you though. How many of the 1000 cars on the road have been recalled so far?

Go look at the reviews, software is fixable. Not sure what your gripe is. First model year car will always have glitches, and this is the companies first ever car. You should have waited a year to buy. Common sense to wait!
Pretty stupid going ahead and buying a car in the first months of production and complaining about glitches! Why be so impatient?? That is why I NEVER buy in the first year. At least better than the trash Tesla puts out. I hated my Model S so dumped it.
Obviously Vicky you don't have a Lucid so your qualifications for calling me Stupid are not justified but once you can afford a Lucid like then like many of us you to will figure it out quickly but like most of us think the Model S is a great car when you are in our league then maybe you can understand but probably not.
Model S is a shitty car, thats why I sold it taking a 20k loss after a year. I hated it that much. My lucid should be arriving next year, I'm not in a rush and I waited a year to buy. I never buy a 1st year model car. They always ahave issues to fix. Nothing to do with affordability here, why bring that up? Class action? Like i said, your fault for buying in the first year.
I do have a Lucid now and its miles ahead of trash Tesla!! Tesla selss cars at 30% margin compared to 15% which is the industry average for a high volume producer- guess why? CHEAP QUALITY!!

You did a great job so far and it would be my honor to take it over from you and continue your legacy. I am a Tesla owner myself since 2018 and it took me almost a year to take care of multiple issues. But now, I really enjoy my Model 3.
I still believe in Lucid and cannot wait until 2025 for Lucid to release Gravity.
My only disappointment about Tesla is that they don't believe in LIDAR, so I would never be able to fully trust my Self-driving mode :(

Lucid has superior self-driving technology compare to Tesla. Look at other automakers, VW just announced that they are going to use Innoviz LiDAR technology.

This is not a healthy reaction, guy really seems like he's going through something. His energy is so hard to watch. Not diagnosing him, but my son is bipolar and he gets the same rage built up and turns everything into fuel for it.
Hi I used to work for lucid motors in Arizona, they are not a good company to work for or buy stocks from them this month there stocks went down they are going to fail & go bankrupt If they don't shape up, they are doing everything ass backwards and don't know how to control the logistics side of the wearhouse, my company signed a 3yr contract and last month they let us go cause the said we were worth shit and didn't know bow to take care of logistics, so now they are doing everything as the customer,
Lucid logistics was messed up. Deliveries were slow. Your company handled their logistics. Your company was fired. Now deliveries have increased a lot.
